Indonesia and Hong Kong have collaborated on many infrastructure projects, including the development of toll roads, ports, and airports. Hong Kong is also one of the largest investors in Indonesia, particularly in the banking and property sectors. In addition, the relationship between the two countries is also influenced by the significant presence of the Indonesian community in Hong Kong.
In the field of education, various academic partnerships and exchange programs that enable students and scholars to study and conduct research at their respective institutions. Several universities in Hong Kong have established partnerships with universities in Indonesia to promote academic collaboration and exchange. The program aims to promote academic excellence and cultural exchange between the two regions.
In addition, the interest of Indonesian students to pursue higher education in Hong Kong is increasing, especially in the fields of business, engineering, law, and science. Many universities in Hong Kong offer international programs that meet the needs and interests of Indonesian students.
